  1. Finally I got the opportunity to see this video. I found it interesting because as we have already commented in class, we find these two terms inseparable. Nature vs. nurture is something we need to understand they always come together.

As Laurence Steinberg in the video say "genes are not directions that we follow or that our body follow that can turn on or off alone, they mostly depend in the circumstances that surround us." So, in a way of reafirmation, environment can´t work separated from genes.

As a conclusion, experiences matters and genes dont determine...they just establish propensity, and this propensity are realice different in all different circumstances.

  2. An interesting video, we can see how sometimes we think that terms or definitions can be "together", but as we see, there are benefits on the knowledge of making connection.

And also how the environment act in this part it's very important, so we must provide a clean and clear environment, so students and teachers can get involved in the main objective.

  3. I like this video, because it´s interesting to see the relation between nature and nurture... because this are two facts that does not be separate, one thing went to the other.
In my opinion, the experiment was explaining the importance of the empirical experiences in the life, an then, how we learn in the whole life.
Nature vs Nurture, is a important term, we comprehends about the individual differences, not only in behavior, also in physical too.

  4. the video is interesting because the investigation that Laurence Steinberg did was very impresive, to know that kids are very "open mind" in everything, and can capture more information than the adult, because the brain is reduced according the human grow up.
I like the video because it shows that nature and nurture are narture and nurture are a kind of mixture in our behavior.

  5. I agree with what he says, because we born with a lot of habilities in our brain, but, the circunstances in the life are what are going to make us able to develop what we need in that moment, so that´s why nature can't be separated of nurture.

Maybe we have more habilities but we just take what we need in the moment and let the others at the side without realizing that we have it.
I identified and really like the phrase ''genes don't determine our behavior''.
